Abstract
Paediatric gliomas represent a major entity in brain tumors among children. Diagnosis of brain tumors in our setting is delayed either due to misdiagnosis or lack of knowledge on the pattern of presesntation among the primary care practitioners. Therefore, patients present with very large tumors that may be inoperable. Management of these tumors is intricate since the balance between oncological function and neurocognitive function should inform the extent of resection. In this review, we look at a series of some of these patients and how they were managed.
